I shall leave it as a testament to my only successor, and as a warning ― to those ones, who is not able to get the better of his thirst for power, which is beyond humans` comprehension. If someone is reading this ― that means, the mechanism of my vengeance is already launched, and the divine retribution is already on its triumphant way to the Earth I hate so much. I am the embodiment of sin, and along with it ― I am the angel, who has expiated his fault by sufferings and is carrying the sword of justice to the source of unrestrained and ruthless evil...
...My creation... The shadow of delusive hope, which had been feeding up the vital fire in my spent body for so many brutal years... I created you ― with desire for no wealth and glory, not in the name of death, chaos and destruction ― I desired for the greater good, salvation and creation. With your breathe I longed to give a happy careless life to the dearest creature to me in the whole world and space. A happy life to the humanity...
...My brainchild... Since the moment you were born I have been treating you like my own son. I made you a part of my warped life, and you shared the cup of sufferings with me in full measure, though you had never deserved it...
...My precious poor Mary... It`s too unfair that you got under the hammer of inexorable fate. You started, spent and finished your short life in suffering, so was your fatal share... You was the last gleam of hope, which struggled through the thick darkness of my despair. Looking at your smile struggling against pain I cherished hope for the day when a color returns to your pale fatigued face... I sinned terribly for you. I sacrificed the other`s lives, I turned the whole science upside down, violate the name of God, intended to rise on one level with Him... Just for you I created perfection ― I was holding it in my hands, growing it like a fruit, waiting for its healing sap... I have almost reached my goal... But you never lived that long...
The destroyed everything. They took your salvation away from me. Then they took your life. Their destructive insatiable greed gorged everything my life consisted of ― but my single life was not enough for them. Like a pack of gluttonous dogs from Hell they drowned thousands of innocent a souls in blood... As well as yours... And they will pay. Here is coming the Great Vengeance Day, when the Eclipse precipitates the fire beam, and the Heaven`s pillar of light shall absorb all the evil on the earth, so I shall wreak my vengeance upon the world and your soul shall finally be cleansed by its downfall...
But my vengeance won`t be deliberate. They will incur the wrath of Heaven by themselves. Humans` endless foolishness and unappeasable greed will never let them live in piece. But you ― my son ― shall forget your sufferings while resting in deep sleep. After I am gone, you will become my shadow for a while. Let them search the way to wake you up. They will succeed eventually ― and that`s what shall destroy them. At the moment you are awake, you shall recollect you pain, and my soul, thirsting for revenge, will interflow your shadow. You will cover the world with your shadow... And afterwards there will be long-awaited silence. Black and peaceful void, where nothing shall disturb you anymore. Your pain and wrath shall perish in dead vacuum and reunite with me and Mary in the world, where we shall be finally in peace together...
But for the time being, you shall sleep. Sleep peacefully and forgive me... Shadow the Hedgehog.
